The blizzard of 2010 really rocked the North East. I'ts hard to imagine 20 inches of snow in New York's Central Park. I thought that NBC News did a marvelous job in their coverage of the event. I didn't see any igloos at 30 Rock, but who could help but notice those large piles of snow on the side streets. I feel sorry for all those passengers stranded at the three main airports in the New York area and in different parts of the country. Trains, planes, and automobiles were involved in some mighty mother nature scenarios. It's not fun being stranded on a subway, or stuck in your car on very snowy road. New York's mayor Bloomburg warned motorists to stay off the streets if necessary, but some drivers ignored the warning, making it harder for equipment to clear up the snowy mess; however New Yorker's are resilient people and will get through this blustory Winter event. In the meantime for all snow lovers, have a happy Eskimo Week. Again, I want to thank NBC NEWS for doing a fantastic job of reporting the blizzard of 2010! Stay warm and think of Spring and Summer.
